Check-In
So I'm 2 Stone over stage weight.
My goal was to be 10lbs over.
But my body had other ideas it seems.
So we go based on the look..
I have soft lines and in that right light I have abs , So this is good enough.
Off season is about growth and development of the body nobody goes in stage wanting to look the same as last time so we persist and accept the changes the extra fat.
3 weeks post show
No food binges as I have addressed the triggers and removed then from my plan.
Calories are good and attainable and I love that I still have cardio on my plan. Habits for a lifetime not just for prep.
Post show blues
So post show blues have kicked in I have moments of feeling low but work has kept me busy.
Even tho my pro card came with controversy. The celebration of it was cut short receiving show day photos have put
A real rush and confirmation on it all .
But with massive highs comes the lows .
But I always feel awareness can make the feelings alot more digestible.
So we have been working with tunnel vision for weeks and bam its over. A massive hole is left.
So how do you fill it. 5 ideas
1) You know your friends and family you have neglected put some energy back into them. They where your main support in that time. ( try make the time not be about food choose an activity such as bowling, mini golf ect )
2) self development away from the gym. Book in to a course learn something new.
3) self development in the gym learn new techniques learn new training methods
4) have fun ( but dont ovet do it) remember your body is comming out of an extreme environment.
5) Pick your next show ( if you wish to compete again)
DO NOT creep back to old habits
